That's just about the most damning thing I've read on the subject of Allardyce.

Take a bow Comma.

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
You can have excuses and success.

For example we had a good run and the excuse was that BFS was forced to play both Sakho and Valencia because of injury to Carroll.

You can have excuses or success, you can't have both.

We aren't in the top five. We are seventh.

The last three games have been a mess.
The Leicester game was a mess too.

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
He sets them up for the full backs to put in decent crosses to score from.

That set up has got in the top 5 and has rarely been played around with. We drew yesterday because the crossing was poor and our wingers and fullbacks were up against a well drilled offside trap and finding it hard to make the correct run to not get caught. The only time we had joy going forward was when Downing picked the ball up and run at them.

Not side when their manager sets them up not to express themselves. He's in charge.

Whenever anyone tells any professional sportsman they are not good enough to achieve great heights the truly good ones prove them wrong.

The shit ones except it and don't achieve their goals.

Yes, so it's fear of the change for many, rather than they genuinely want to keep Sambo?
Goldie was primarily responsible for Grant, and he let his heart rule his head. Sulli is the maj man now - plus he seems to have gotten the measure of the Sam situation in recent times, so you would hope he is coming to it from a position of strength this time.
I'd like to see someone who can continue to work with Teddy, and puts the team ahead of his own ego.

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
CHL, I reckon the owners have a ready list of candidates they would like to interview for the job. That the owners record for choosing managers is probably what saved BFS last season. It was not so much don't panic as remember we chose Avram and look what happened next.

Re: moaners stinking the place out again
OK, so any team can have a 'blip' and lose a few games mid season. What pisses me off and a lot of others on here by the sounds of things isn't just the losing, it's the style of play and lack of ambition.

COOL HAND LUKE 3:33 Fri Jan 2
Re: moaners stinking the place out again
Simon s.
Because Goldie was interviewed on 909 prior to the Arsenal game. He was asked what we can achieve and he stated verbatim that Sam had told the board that nobody had beaten the top 4 or 5 clubs to the CL places in the history of the PL so far and there was no chance that we would be the first, and that cream always rises to the top over a season.

Comma
I have not named any of the 'dud' replacements being mentioned. In fact, I have not directly named anyone - that is down to the board and its advisors. But they do not want to be knee jerking at seasons end - they should be looking hard already. Whether Sam likes it or not is irrelevant - he can stop the silly shit and rise to the challenge, or he can fuck off. We owe him nothing and it's time to upgrade.

Willtell
I suspect like many others you are not keen to keep Sam, but you are nervous about the board's ability to make a successful change?

I can see it now

" looks lads we are punching above our weight, in all fairness we have been lucky because you are all shit apart from you Kev oh and you Andy. The rest of you are mediocre and those 2 have been carrying you so let's be realistic and revert back to our long ball game and if we are lucky we will finish about 14th which is where we should be"

Word for word what he said according to some knicker wetters on here.

Andy H I'm afraid you're sticking your head j the sand.

We were third. We are now seventh. We are looking at being tenth if we aren't careful.

We had apologists brushing off the chelsea match as a one off but we've all seen us struggle for a few weeks now. We struggled to beat Leicester.

We have no fight and no ambition because Sam has basically told the players they can't possibly get in the top six.

Managers should motivate players and make them want to perform to their very best.

Sams told them they rant good enough and then disputed our style of play and a successful striking partnership to shoe horn in Andy Carroll.

We are now looking at one up front this month and more hoof balls tactics.

It is terribly disappointing to most west ham fans to see us chuck away our best chance in years of progressing because of Sams negative outlook.

stirlinghammer 12:14 Fri Jan 2
Re: moaners stinking the place out again
that's all well and good andy but bfs has not only talked down any ambition to be a top 4-6 team, he also employs tactics that are suited to a relegation scrap. week by week, our style of play(mainly due to nolan and AC) is looking out of place with any team that has ambitions to play in europe. week by week we are looking weaker not stronger, in stark contrast to southampton & yids - 2 teams that did not appear to be loads better than us only 4 weeks ago.

the performances have been getting worse and sam appears to be heading towards his mid table comfort zone. he is just v negative.
